I am an incoming PhD student in Finance at the Swiss Finance Institute – Università della Svizzera italiana (USI Lugano), starting Fall 2026.

Currently, I work as a Research Associate in the Monetary and Economic Department at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), where I focus on macroeconomic analysis. Prior to this, I was a Junior Researcher in the Structural Economic Research Department at the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye.

I hold an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Bonn, where I specialized in financial economics and worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Finance and Statistics.

My research interests lie in monetary policy, empirical banking and international finance.
